Mr. & Mrs. Smith | 11.25.2016
This perfect little backyard wedding was planned a mere 6 weeks before Casie and Daniel's big day! They got engaged last Valentine's Day and had put planning on hold in order to accommodate Daniels's schedule, as he is a Marine and has had two deployments in the past year. When we got the call early October that we would need to start making moves, we wasted no time!
Dee, Casie's mom, pulled out all the stops in helping orchestrate wedding details while Casie finished her last semester at Longwood University. We stayed in constant communication, helping with everything from flowers, to decorations, to well of course, pictures!
It was so endearing being apart of such an intimate day. From first looks to the rings they exchanged, this sweet day was packed with sentimental touches. Casie is the ultimate daddy's girl, and we love that she made it a priority to do a first look with not only her soon-to-be husband but with her dad as well! Moments before all the wedding fun really took off, Casie shared time with her dad before he walked her down the aisle.
Casie's parents gave the bride and groom such sweet gifts! As presents were opened, tears were flowing but so was an abundance of love. This wedding was just as much fun as it was sentimental and as the night progressed, the laughter and happiness was truly contagious! Tay and her boyfriend even got in on the bouquet/garter toss and caught them (woohoo)!
This bride and her amazing family hold a dear place in our hearts to begin with but this day will forever mean the word to us. We were able to capture our very first wedding and we still can't wrap our heads around all the feels we stillllll have! Our love for capturing love can't be put into words. So many important moments combine to make a wedding day magnificent. We got chills capturing endearing, one-of-a-kind moments and the thought that this is only the beginning for these two sweet souls is without a doubt such a rewarding feeling. Thank you for trusting us with your memories Mr. & Mrs. Smith, we love you forever and wish you a lifetime of happiness. If your wedding is a glimpse into the type of marriage you'll have, we know you have many more laughs, forehead kisses, and dancing twirls in your future!
