Kendel + Joe White 7.22.17 | 10 year Vow Renewal

These sweet souls celebrated 10 years of marriage by renewing their vows at The Planter's Club in Suffolk and we were so lucky to be a part of it! On the drive to their ceremony, the storm clouds were rolling in and boy oh boyyyy was it already thundering and lightening. It's something no one dreams for on any celebration. Last minute decisions were made to move the ceremony inside but let us just tell you it did not put a damper on their day one bit.

The main reason for this sweet vow renewal was that Kendel and Joe didn't do the big wedding thing the first time around. Joe is active duty Navy and after multiple deployments and three beautiful children later, they decided it was time for a celebration and we couldn't agree more. This celebration was the first time both sides of their family ever met and you absolutely would not have known walking into that venue. Everyone molded together as one big family and joined in celebrating the love of Kendel and Joe.

When we snuck off for their bride & groom portraits we were able to see these two lovebirds one on one and it was the absolute sweetest. 10 years of marriage, children, military life, and everything in between, these two still laughed and joked and flirted as if they were newlyweds! We were in awe of how sweet and genuine they remained through the entire evening, even when they so lovingly COVERED each other in icing from their cake cutting (when we say covered, we mean full on face full of icing covered)!

Joe and Kendel, thank you so so much for allowing us to capture this huge milestone for you both. We enjoyed every minute we captured and are so lucky to have been a part of celebrating 10 years!

Xoxo,
